Snoring is a common sleep disorder that can affect all people at any age, although it occurs more frequently in men and people who are overweight. Its the vibration of respiratory structures and the resulting sound, due to obstructed air movement during breathing while sleeping..
Occasional snoring is usually not very serious and is mostly a nuisance for the bed partner of the person who snores.However, the habitual snorer not only disrupts the sleep patterns of those close to him, he also disturbs his own..
The physical obstruction of the flow of air through the mouth and nose is the cause of snoring. The walls of the throat vibrate during breathing, resulting in the distinctive sounds of snoring. Air flow can be obstructed by a combination of factors like, Obstructed nasal airways, Poor muscle tone in the throat and tongue, Bulky throat tissue, Long soft palate and/or uvula etc..
Statistics on snoring are often contradictory, but at least 30% of adults and perhaps as many as 50% of people in some demographics snore.Habitual snorers can be at risk for serious health problems. Obstructive sleep apnea is an illness that is often associated with chronic snoring..

More than all other health risks, its a bit of cause for others to laugh on you, and ofcourse a real headache for those who sleep near you..

WHY SHOULD I SLEEP?

Every creature in this world needs rest after their daily hurdles. Sleep gives your body rest and alow it to prepare for next day. Its believed to be in this time, your brain used to rearrange your memories. And some scientists believe that its the rearranging process of brain which will let us dream. Its during this time brain sorts and stores informations and solve problems too.

Amount of sleep for us will varry according to age. Babies sleep almost 14-15 hours!!.

Studies show that people who sleep properly in a regular basis will live longer with a healthy body and clear mind than those who dont have a sound sleep. Sleep has many other benifits too like, It repair your body, It reduces stress, It can keep your heart healthy, Improves memory etc..

Now let me explain sleep according to system of medicine that i practice, AYURVEDA the sacred system of curing, Where old sages with their inner sight and pure knowledge written that,

Yadaa tu manasi klaante
karmaatmaanaha klamaanvitaaha|
Vishayebhyo nivartante tadaa swpiti
maanavaha||

Which means, when mind, sensory and motor organs get exhausted, they dissociates themselves from their sences and stimuli and it will make us sleep..
Nowadays, most of us are unable to withdraw our senses from the external world due to work or family stresses. And this is the main cause for nowadays sleeplesness..

According to AYURVEDA, sleep has both good and bad effects depending upon the time and duration of sleep.

In this stressfull world, sleep itself became a dream for humen beings. Every minute they are utilizing to make money. They never know that, atlast the money that they made with sleepless nights will only be usefull to buy SLEEPING PILLS for the rest of their life!! So dont forget to sleep...

ABOUT A DEADLY DISEASE

CANCER

Cancer is a class of diseases characterized by out-of-control cell
growth. There are over 100 different
types of cancer, and each is classified by the type of cell that is initially affected.Cancer harms the body whendamaged cells divide uncontrollably to form lumps or masses of tissue called tumors (except in the case of leukemia where cancer prohibits normal blood function by abnormal cell division in the blood stream)..

When a tumor successfully spreads
to other parts of the body and
grows, invading and destroying
other healthy tissues, it is said to
have metastasized. This process
itself is called metastasis, and the
result is a serious condition that is
very difficult to treat..

Cells can experience uncontrolled
growth if there are damages or
mutations to DNA, and therefore,
damage to the genes involved in cell
division. Four key types of gene are
responsible for the cell division
process: oncogenes tell cells when to
divide, tumor suppressor genes tell
cells when not to divide, suicide
genes control apoptosis and tell the
cell to kill itself if something goes
wrong, and DNA-repair genes
instruct a cell to repair damaged
DNA.
Cancer occurs when a cell's gene
mutations make the cell unable to
correct DNA damage and unable to
commit suicide. Similarly, cancer is a result of mutations that inhibit
oncogene and tumor suppressor
gene function, leading to
uncontrollable cell growth..

Carcinogens are a class of substances that are directly responsible for damaging DNA, promoting or aiding cancer.. Tobacco, asbestos, arsenic,
radiation such as gamma and x-rays,
the sun, and compounds in car
exhaust fumes are all examples of
carcinogens. When our bodies are
exposed to carcinogens, free radicals are formed that try to steal electrons from other molecules in the body. These free radicals damage cells and affect their ability to function normally..Cancer can be the result of a genetic predisposition that is inherited from family members. .As we age, there is an increase in the number of possible cancer-causing mutations in our DNA. Several viruses have also
been linked to cancer such as:
human papillomavirus (a cause of
cervical cancer), hepatitis B and C
(causes of liver cancer), and Epstein-
Barr virus (a cause of some
childhood cancers). Human
immunodeficiency virus (HIV) - and
anything else that suppresses or
weakens the immune system -
inhibits the body's ability to fight
infections and increases the chance
of developing cancer..

There are five broad groups that are
used to classify cancer.
1. Carcinomas are characterized by
cells that cover internal and external
parts of the body such as lung, breast, and colon cancer.
2. Sarcomas are characterized by cells that are located in bone, cartilage, fat, connective tissue, muscle, and other supportive tissues.
3. Lymphomas are cancers that begin in the lymph nodes and immune system tissues.
4. Leukemias are cancers that begin in the bone marrow and often
accumulate in the bloodstream.
5. Adenomas are cancers that arise in the thyroid, the pituitary gland, the adrenal gland, and other glandular tissues...

TIPS TO LOOSE YOUR WEIGHT

1. Start your day with a Glass of water.
2. Drink a cup of water just before each of your food.
3. Stay off from sweetened bottle drinks.
4. Increase foods with fibre content.
5. Go crazy with only vegitables.
6. Fix times to have meals and fix to it.
7. Quit snacking in between meals.
8. Try to take only black tea with less suger.
9. Avoid fried foods.
10. Eat only if you are hungry. Dont have it for time pass.
11. Dont bring choclates to daily menu.
12. Try to have breakfast within one hour of waking.
13. CARBOHYDRATES must be your diets 50-55% 25-30% PROTIENS and only 15-20% FATS.
14. Dont forget use of teeth. Dont swallow foods in hurry. Chew them well before swallowing.
15. Select an exercise pattern to suit your life.
16. Use your stair instead of elevator.
17. Try to do swimming whenever time allows.
18. Do some breathing exercises like yoga.
19. Use olieve oi which can burn your bad fat.

GAYATHRI MANTHRAM

"OM BHURBHUVASVAHA TATSAVITURVARENYAM BHARGODEVASYA DHEEMAHI DHEEYOYONAH PRAJOTHAYATH"



The above mentioned MANTHRA is called as GAYATHRI MANTHRA. Its a great manthra which include the full meanings of four VEDAs or in other words the VEDAs took its origin from this MANTHRA. It will take more than a life to understand the deep meanings which is hidden inside this MANTHRA. Its told in ITAREYOPANISHAD that, "GAYÁN PRÁNÁN TRÁYATHAE SÁ GÁAYATHRI" which means, that which will help or protect the lifes is called GAYATHRI.. Lets try to find meanings of each words in this great MANTHRA hidden in different scriptures....


GAYATHRI MANTHRAM is made up of 24 letters, each letter having wast meanings.
(~ OM ~) OM itself is believed to be the BRAHMAM or the ultimate soul. Its the sound of extreme soul or we can tell the sound of god or god itself.This sound is also called as PRANAVAM. All sounds in this universe is originated from this prime sound. Its told in VRIDHA HARITHI SMRITHI (6.88) that,

"SARVESHÁMEVA MANTHRÁNÁM KÁRANAM PRANAVAM SMRUTHAHA"

Its the PRANAVA MANTHRA which is responsible for all other MANTHRAS..

(~ BHUH, BHUVAHA, SVAHA ~) These 3 are called as VYAHRUTHIs. It shows many imaginations and it will bring us to different imaginations. The root or essence of VEDAS is called UPANISHATH, The root or extreme essence of UPANISHATH is GAYATHRI and the root of GAYATHRI is these VYAHRITIs..

(~ TATH ~) It shows the PARAMATHMA or the extreme soul. We cant see the PARAMATHMA with our eyes. Only way to see it is with our INNER SOUL. This TATH is placed in begining of GAYATHRI is to let the man who chant this MANTHRA to start it by thinking that extreame soul..

(~ SAVITHUH ~) Its common meaning is sun. The unknown power from the extreme soul reach our eyes in the form of sun. But, the SAVITHUH here is not just the sun, its the shining of PARAMATHMA itself. In Bruha-Yoga-Yajna(9/55) its told that,

"SAVITHA SARVA BHOTANAM SARVABHAVASCHA SUYATHE"
Means, SAVITHA is the creater of all sorts of living beings..

(~ VARENYE ~) Means, That which is acceptable to us. There exists all sorts of knowledge in the extreme soul. In that some may not be usefull to us and some will be usefull too. And, here by using this VARENYE we are accepting the knowledge that will be usefull to us from that wast source..

(~ BHARGA ~) The extreme power that kills the evils is called as BHARGAN. We must place this BHARGAN inside us to fight against evil things in this world. Its told by sage VYASA that,
"BHRAAJATE CHA YADHA BHARGHAH"
Means, The name bhargha is derived coz of the devine shining..

(~ DEVASYA ~) DEVA is one who live in Dyoh, or in the heaven. One who spread the supreme light from above. One who used to give Daanam. By using the word DEVASYA, its wishing that let those who spell this may become like DEVA and let them get high places after their death. Let them spread the light of love every where..

(~ DHEMAHI ~) Means, doing DHYANAM, or meditation or worshiping. The thing that we meditate will become stable in our mind. The thing that stable in our mind got our special attention and love too. And it can let us reach or get the perticular thing that we are worshipping..

(~ DHIYAH ~) DHI means intelligence. By this it shows, let our intelligence be good enough to attain all prospirity. Let our intelligence be usefull for good purposes. And let it be out of reach from evil spirits..

(~ YAH ~) Means, that which. In NIRNAYA KALPA VYAKHYANAM, its written that,
"YAH PRATHYAG ROOPAH"
Thats, YAH is ATHMAROOPAM which we can see. Bye using this it conveys, let the extreme soul stay in us. Let that soul help us to swim away from these life hurdles..

(~ NAH ~) Means mine,or our. We already done prayer to extreme soul, but that prayer is not for our sake but for the entire universe. And by this we let the prayer to whole universe..

(~ PRAJOTHAYATH ~) Means, let it inspire. Let that extreme soul inspire us. Let we are inspired to do these things. Let our intelligense be inspired by that PARAMATHMA..

AYAM ATMA BRAHMAM

ATMA or the SOUL, and BRAHMA or the UNIVERSAL SOUL is of no difference.. Or in other words, Individual self has no difference from the absolute.. The concept can be easily understood by the example of waves and ocean.. We the souls are just simple waves in the Ocean or the Absolute..
